Executive Director, MLH Center for Population Health Research at LIMR, Lankenau Institute for Medical Research, Main Line Health

March 22, 2016

In a highly-innovative and forward-thinking collaboration, the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research (LIMR) at Main Line Health (MLH) is joining with Jefferson College of Population Health at Thomas Jefferson University to create the MLH Center for Population Health Research at LIMR.  For thisemerging population health initiative, they are seeking an accomplished Executive Director. Supported in part by an endowment since 1927, LIMR is a freestanding research center whose primary mission is the advancement of human health through research that detects and treats disease; transfers new technology to the clinic; and trains the next generation of scientists and physicians. The Center, housed within LIMR, further serves that purpose through population health management and health outcomes assessment research.

The inaugural Executive Director, reporting to David Nash, MD, Dean of the Jefferson College of Public Health, is charged with further developing and leading the Center through the recruitment of an Associate Director and other faculty. With an appointment in the College of Population Health up to the level of a Professor, the ED will be granted appropriate access to patient and population health data to enable the growth of a robust research portfolio.

We are seeking an MD and/or PhD in health services research, epidemiology, health policy, economics, or other related field, who has a proven track record of securing and leading externally supported research and a record of peer-reviewed publications. This is an excellent opportunity to create and build a research group in a highly-collaborative setting focused on translating population health research to both regional and national applications.
